The Colorado Avalanche are in town to take on the Stars, Bishop gets the start and Radulov returns to the ice after being benched last game
Dallas quickly takes control of this game from the first whistle and looks to be the team wanting to keep its winning streak intact.
It takes almost all the first period to see a goal however, and it comes of the stick of Radulov to put the Stars up 1-0.
It is half-way through the game before we see another goal and once again it is Radulov this time he rips one in of the post and the Stars take a 2-0 lead.
Jamie Benn adds the third on a great setup from Dickinson behind the net. At 3-0 Stars the Avalanche pull the goalie for the extra attacker, Seguin gets a chance at the empty net, but delays for Radulov, and they don’t connect, but Radulov then forces a turnover beet his man and shoots the puck into the empty net, picking up his 20th goal of the season and his first ever NHL Hat-Trick.
Bishop made some huge stops tonight and was solid for all 31 that he faced and picked up his 2nd shut out in as many games.
The Stars looked unstoppable tonight, they put a good game plan together, came out hitting hard, showed the Avs who was boss and came away with a big win and extended their gap in the standings. Radulov must also feel like he has now made up for being late!
