That’s more like it… Series tied 1-1
Who said the Starts can’t score? Well as of late you where right, but the Stars stack up 5 goals to even the series at 1 a piece.

The Stars have an early icing call go against them that results in a quick 1-0 lead for the Flames and had the Stars, or maybe just the fans, once again feeling like we were in for another bad night of hockey. However, the Stars looked a completely different team and immediately dominated and looked like the Stars team we saw towards the end of 2019.
The top trio of Benn, Seguin and Radulov where re-united and made a big impact in the first period as they tied the game then Radulov sent Miro in alone and the Stars enjoyed their first lead of the first round along with some very welcome first period goals!
Dallas extended their lead in the 2nd to make it 3-1 and although the Stars play did not fall apart a few bad bounces and a short handed goal against had the game at 4-4 entering the final minutes of play.
However Perry, who had put the Stars back in the lead on the Powerplay earlier in the game, found a lane to a wide open Oleksiak who gives the Stars their lead back in the final minute of the game and the Stars come away with the win and the series tied.
Suddenly things feel very different for the Stars, a team who was struggling offensively managed to pick up 5 goals, a team that looked like they didn’t have the energy or fight to win looked unstoppable. Now, they just need to find a way to keep scoring and to bring back their tighter defense and I think we are back to looking like the team in Nov/Dec last year.
The game also looked a lot more physical and with around 21 hours between game 2 & 3 expect things to pick up where they left of as we go right back at it.
GO STARS!
