Stars top line is the difference in game 1 win
Stars top trio of Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn & Alexander Radulov combine for 8 points in game 1 victory over the Colorado Avalanche as they take an early series lead in round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Stars once again put up at least 5 goals in a strong performance to open up round 2. A Strong an high scoring team were, for the most part, kept of the score board due to the Stars defense and goaltender Anton Khudobin. Nathan Mackinon kept his point streak alive and was all over the score sheet for the Avs, but it was not enough as the Stars get goals from Seguin, his first of the playoffs, Radulov with 2, Hintz and Comeau to make it 5-3 Stars.
The Stars for the last 5 1/2 periods of hockey and now looked like real Stanley Cup contenders, the team that we saw in runs during the regular season has found their stride again just at the right time. It was a fun and enjoyable game to watch as a Stars fan, more like it in game number 2 please!
