Stars stunned by Lightning
The Dallas Stars took on the leagues number Tampa Bay Lightning in Florida, but the high scoring Tampa club lit the light 4 times in the opening period, something the Stars couldn’t recover from.

It was a tough opening frame that saw the Stars use both Khudobin and Bow, the Stars didn’t look completely out of this game, but the Lightning made each goal look so easy.
Dallas opts to send Khudobin back out to start the second period after he was pulled for letting 3 goals in during the first, he looks to be reset and re-focused. Khudobin makes a few huge saves to keep the Stars within reach until he is caught out of his crease and as he scrambles back he ends up deflecting the puck into the net on a shot that may have been going wide. It looks like it is just one of those nights for Anton. Stamkos is also set up on an unstoppable play as he rips the 6th goal into the net for Tamppa Bay. The second period ends and Dallas opts to start the third with Bow back in net.
The third is a much better period for the Stars, they get a lot of chances, but cannot get anything on the board, there is no scoring in the 3rd so the Lightning take the game 6-0.
