The Calgary Flames led by Talbot held the Stars off the board in game 3, the Stars had some great chances, but did not capitalize. Resulting in a 2-0 win for the Flames and a 2-1 series lead in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Falling 2-1 in the Stanley Cup Playoffs is not the end of the world, but it is not somewhere the Stars want to be, but do they deserve to be there?

I personally think the Stars played a good game, and it showed they are starting to get more comfortable, in reality, the Flames are a really good squad, and probably finished lower than they should have in the league standings this year, and the Stars are sticking with them, a couple of bounces could have gone either way and this would have been a very different result.

Either way, time for the Stars to focus on game number 4, and they don’t have long as it is less than 20 hours between the end of game 3 and the Start of game 4!
