Stars score 7 unanswered to advance!
The Dallas Stars extinguish the Calgary Flames and advance to Round 2 of the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

After falling 3-0 in the first 3 minutes of game 6, the Stars turn things around and score 7 unanswered goals to dominate the rest of the game and end the series sending the Flames home.
The Stars, led by Denis Gurianov who scored 4 of the 7 goals broke more Dallas Stars records posting another hat trick and the first time ever in Dallas Stars franchise history has a player scored 4 goals in a playoff game.
After letting 3 slip through in quick succession early, Khudobin was fantastic and kept all the momentum focused on the Stars offense as he ended up facing over 40 shots in the game.
The Stars 21 goals in the opening round was definitely not what was expected of them, but it is what was needed to advance, and puts them 2nd of all teams in the first round in goals for, second only to their next opponent, the Colorado Avalanche who finished with 22 goals in 5 games.
