Stars come close against leagues best
The Dallas Stars continue their road trip with a trip to Boston, the Bruins the only team to have hit 90 points already this season will be a big test for the Stars.

A heated game that saw the Stars strike first with a goal by Benn or Klingberg… if the goal stands as Jamie’s it will be his 300th of his career, but it has already been switched twice between Klingberg and the captain, currently the NHL have it down as Benn’s, so we will congratulate him on that milestone!
The Bruins then scored 3 unanswered goals to take a 2 goal advantage, during this span Joe Pavelksi and David Krejci dropped the gloves the pair of veterans had 13 years between them since they last dropped the gloves, Pavelski’s last being in 2017. The Stars managed to get back into the game with another goal by the rookie Gurianov, but the Bruins restored their 2 goal advantage.
It came down to the final minutes and with Bishop on the bench the Stars got themselves back to within a shot with a beautiful tick-tac-toe play between Benn, Seguin & Heiskanen, Halak however made a huge stop but a fortune bounce for the Stars saw the puck cross the line.
The final goal however did not come for the Stars as they came so close, but it was a revved up game and a strong performance showing that the Stars are as good and can play with the league best Bruins.
