Dallas Stars Roster

The forward lineups are not confirmed but Benn, Seguin & Radulov are expected to start tonight, Nichushkin is likely to rest. For defense expect to see Klingberg & Miro in the lineup, Stephen Johns will not play however, it is believed he could be ready for practice on Tuesday.

Both stars goalies will rest, Big Ben & Doby will be good to go for October 4th. Carlton Point will get the nod for tonights game, could this be a sign that if any injurys occur in the season he will get the call? Or does coach Montgomery still want to see him one more time first?

Preseason thoughts

Well it is hard not to get excited about the Stars preseason and first games under new head coach Jim Montgomery, but it is only preseason, and there are many factors to consider when analyzing the wins and loss. But ultimately we really like what we have seen from both the Stars and the new coach, there is a feeling of winning in the air and with that comes belief and that is important and required if the Stars are going to bring another cup home. The final game feels important as it is back in front of a home crowd at the AAC, and the Stars want to bounce back from the loss in St Louis and start the season on a high.
