GAME DAY | What to expect in game 2

The Dallas Stars look to keep the momentum going as they prepare for game 2 against the Nashville Predators, meanwhile the Predators will be looking to stop any momentum the Stars have so expect another big tilt as always in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Game 2 - Dallas Stars vs Nashville Predators
Game 2 – Dallas Stars vs Nashville Predators

To be honest it is not like in to days NHL either team didn’t know what to expect in game 1, both teams bought their A-game and the Stars came out on top. So in my opinion expect much the same as game 1, the Stars will need a good start to hold off any immediate surge from the Preds, then it will be a hard battle to the finish like before.

Nashville managed to pick up goals from some of their big names in Josi and Suban, as did the Stars in Miro, Radulov & Heiskanen, but both teams will be looking to get their top forwards on the board in game 2.

Benn & Seguin did not find the back of the net in game 1, Benn picked up an assist but Seguin is yet to pick up a point, expect that to change as they will want to make a difference as they did in the regular season.

Other than that expect to see more of the same, a speedy Hintz, fun to watch Miro and Zucarello to pick up at least a point!

It will be huge if the Stars can come back to Dallas with a 2-0 series lead, and with another good performance tonight that is exactly what we should be expecting.

Don’t forget it is an earlier start so set your alarm get to wherever you are going to watch the game and lets cheer the Stars to another victory!

Also don’t forget the Dallas Stars Stanley Cup Playoff Challenge closes as the puck drops so make sure you get your votes in before the Start of the game! Click here to vote.
