The Dallas Stars start their 6 game road trip in Detroit for an early 4pm CT face off against the Red Wings. Detroit has had a tough start to their season and will be looking to take advantage of the lack of confidence the Stars have on the road. Meanwhile, the Stars will be looking to take advantage of Detroit’s 1-7-2 record to start this road trip off on the right foot.
It’s going to be interesting
As always, something’s gotta give, the Stars want their first win on the road, the Red Wings want their 2nd win of the season… only one team will be victorious and the Stars have the upper hand.
The Stars are expected to be in the shape as the last two home games, Johns is still out although has traveled with the team and could make his season debut on this road trip. Radulov is unlikely to play against Detroit but is expected to be ready for Montreal to face his old club.
With all lines now up to speed, the Stars just need a dominant performance against the Wings, Jamie Benn & Tyler Seguin to find the back of the net and the depth scoring to continue. Ben Bishop will play against the Wings and is expected to play 4 of the 6 games on this trip.
