GAME DAY | First visit to the Mile High City
The Dallas Stars head to Denver to take on the Avalanche for the first time this season. The Stars and Avalanche before the season began were both spoken of very highly, since the season has started things have gone in two very different directions for each side.
Colorado have kicked things off with an 8-2-2 start to their season while the Stars have started to sort themselves out are looking much better than they were at 5-8-2.
The last few games has the Avs with just 1 win in their last 4 games, the Stars have 4 wins in their last 5.
The division rivalry goes back a long way against the Avs, but the Stars have not had much success in Denver, something they will want to change tonight. The scoring is usually high, so this should be a good chance for the Stars to carry their offensive production over from the Minnesota game.
