Dallas Stars Fans, the time has come. WE ARE BACK!
Yes, we are indeed back. With just 9 games left in the season the Dallas Stars Fan Site is ready to return, and what a time to return. 9 key games that will determine if the Stars will make the playoffs.
But where did we go?
Well during that fantastic run to the Stanley Cup finals, that had all our heartrates at dangerous levels. I was also expecting my first child, it was a very exciting time to say the least. Each round bought the Stars one step close to holding the Cup, and me one step closer to holding my son. Well, you all know how it turned out for the Stars… luckily for me 2 weeks after game 6 I suddenly had plently of distractions to keep my mind busy.
I fully expected to return for the next season. However, I don’t think anything prepares you for being a parent and to put it simply, it was just not possible to keep the site/channels running.
However, my son is now 18 months old today and I think there is no better time to re-launch and bring back to life the Dallas Stars Fan Site.
Being the huge Stars fan that I am. I have not missed a game myself in this time, but just taken a step back from the Fan Site. But I am determined to finish my original goal of creating the best place for all Stars fans from all over to come and enjoy.
Over the next few weeks you will see lots of changes to the Dallas Stars Fan Site. I want to continue to bring you unique Dallas Stars news and opinions along with stats and information. With the addition of merchandise, tickets and more. And hopefully in the next few weeks we will be getting ready for round 1 of the Playoffs!
