The Dallas Stars have struggled to get their game together so far in Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and as a result we trail the Blues 2 games to 1. Game 4 is Wednesday back at the AAC and the Stars look to up their game and tie up the series once again.
Dallas Stars goaltender Ben Bishop was named one of the three finalists for the 2018-19 Vezina Trophy, awarded “to the goalkeeper adjudged to be the best at his position,” the National Hockey League announced today. The general managers of the NHL’s 31 clubs submitted ballots for the Vezina Trophy at the conclusion of the regular season, with the top three vote-getters designated as finalists.
The Dallas Stars once again out played the Nashville Predators on Saturday afternoon in Nashville and in doing so earned themselves a 3-2 series lead, game 6 is Monday night at the American Airlines Centre and the Stars with another home win will be able to eliminate the Predators and advance to the 2nd round where the St Louis Blues await them.
The season is over and the playoffs are here! After everything coming down to the wire in the central division, things couldn’t have worked out better for the Stars, a win kept them in the first wild card slot and to face a central division opponent. As the rest of the results came in it ended up being the Nashville Predators who came in first place and will take on the Dallas Stars.
