Stars sink Sharks, keep pace in Playoff race
A big win 2 points for the Stars as they take down the Sharks.

The Stars put in a mighty effort, but come away with a lonely single point
The Dallas Stars fought hard against the high flying Minnesota Wild, outshooting them 36 to 27, but their efforts where only good enough for an overtime loss.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are the Stanley Cup Champions!
Well Stars fans, we came so far. It sucks not to be writing about the Stars forcing a game 7 or better still that the Stars are the 2020 Stanley Cup Champions, but what a job we did to get this far.

The show must go on! 2 more wins
Corey Perry gets the first and last goals of the game and that is just what the Stars needed to extend this series. Pavelski with the other Stars goal showing just how important those two additions are to the Stars who prove themselves yet again.

It’s not over yet!
The Dallas Stars fail to tie the series at 2-2 in an overtime loss. Once again we can focus on negatives and rule this team out at a chance to win the cup. Bad calls, bad power play, bad last & first minute of the period goals, bad penalty kill… there is a lot we can focus on and get upset about.

Well that escalated quickly… 2-1 Tampa
It felt like the Stars did very little wrong in the first period of game 3, they opportunities that should have given them the lead but couldn’t convert, then 2 mistakes by Stars top D-men, first Miro looses the puck and it’s 1-0 Tampa Bay, then a missed hit by Lindell sees the Stars down by 2.

Stars fail to win special teams battle, series tied
In my view, a good day at the office, just not the right result. Too many penalties in the first, the officiating did not seem consistent throughout the game, but throughout the periods yes. Everything called in the first, most calls were made in the second and everything goes in the 3rd, but regardless, the Lightning managed to capitalize on their chances and it gave them an early 2-0 lead.

Strong defense gives Stars a 1-0 series lead
The Dallas Stars actually scored 5 goals in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals, only 1 of them was a deflection into their own net, so the final score was 4-1 Stars.

STARS WIN and advance to the Stanley Cup Finals!
Dallas scores 3 unanswered goals after falling 2-0 in game 5 of the Western Conference Finals to eliminate the Vegas Golden Knights and move on to the Stanley Cup Finals where they will face either the Tampa Bay Lightning or the New York Islanders.
