Dallas Stars vs Colorado Avalanche Game 3 - feature

Avalanche find a way to win

The Colorado Avalanche win game 3 with a score of 6-4, a close, hard fought game could have gone either way, but with the lead shifting hands several times it was the Avs who finished on top and got their first win of round 2.

Dallas now leads the series 2 games to 1, but have a great chance to go up 3-1 in game 4, and that is what the Stars need to focus on. They played well, and could have come away with another win last night but this time it was not meant to be.

The Stars managed to score first but then fell down by two goals, however, fought hard to end up taking a 4-3 lead late in the third, but a couple of quick goals saw Colorado back on top, then with Khudobin on the bench a no call cross check against Miro caused a turnover that lead to an empty net goal for the Avalanche and the chance of a comeback lost.

It is frustrating, and it is easy to moan about the officials and blame them, but we had other opportunities that could have and should have resulted in a goal or two, so lets move on and take the next 2 and have this series over in 5.
